Hand Embroidery Workshop - Ouroboros

Come join me at my hand embroidery workshop! We'll be stitching up Misfit Make's Ouroboros design featuring a slithering snake and some bright bold flowers.

The ouroboros or uroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. The ouroboros entered Western tradition via ancient Egyptian iconography and the Greek magical tradition. It expresses the unity of all things, material and spiritual, which never disappear but perpetually change form in an eternal cycle of destruction and re-creation.

Your ticket includes one full embroidery kit per person which will be given to you on the night.

In this 2.5 hour workshop you will learn the basics of hand embroidery, including essential hints and tips, how to set up your embroidery, a selection of embroidery stitches and how to finish off your work ready to display.
