Pixels & Purls – Shop Update

All embroidery kits and physical products are winding down

TL;DR version:

Embroidery kits + accessories available until 19 Feb (or until stocks last)

Allow up to 7 days for order processing during this time

Full version:

Over the years, I’ve made and packed almost 10,000 embroidery kits by hand for stockists and customers around the world. It’s been an incredible journey, but producing physical kits at this scale - alongside workshops, pattern design and content creation - has slowly become too much to hold all at once.

This decision is about choosing where my energy is best spent as the business evolves and grows. Stepping back from physical kits gives me the space to focus on teaching, designing, and creating resources in a way that feels sustainable and creatively energising.

Key Dates

Last orders:
Wednesday 19 February (or until stocks last)

Dispatch times: Each kit is packed by hand. Please allow up to 7 business days before dispatch during this final ordering period.

Returns & refunds:

Returns & refunds accepted for 30 days from dispatch on unused items (in original condition). You’ll receive a refund back to your original payment method once we’ve received and processed the returned item. I’ll still be around to help and ensure you’re happy with your order.

Gift Cards

If you have an active gift card, you’ll be contacted personally so you can use it before the shop closes. Gift cards can be redeemed until 19 February (or until stocks last).

What’s Staying

Pixels & Purls isn’t disappearing - it’s evolving.

You can still learn and stitch with me in lots of ways. My online tutorials, resources and PDF patterns remain available, and I’ll continue developing video tutorials, expanded digital resources, and online courses later this year — all designed to help you build confidence and fall in love with embroidery.

I’ll also continue running in-person workshops and private parties in and around the East of England (and further afield), creating opportunities to stitch together both online and in real life. I have a new workshop date added in Norwich on Thursday 30th April if you're keen.

Alongside my own work, I regularly collaborate as a guest designer for Love Embroidery Magazine, creating commissioned tutorials and projects I really enjoy and hope to continue, and I’m also one half of the team behind Fierce Babe Norwich makers markets, which I’ll continue to co-run — advocating for and supporting makers and creatives in the region.

This next phase is about teaching, creativity, and sharing skills — and I’m excited about where it’s heading.

Thank you

Thank you so much for supporting Pixels & Purls over the years. Sharing these kits with you has meant a great deal, and I’m really proud of what’s been made and sent out into the world.
